Salone del Mobile di Milano 2018
18 April 2018
11AM — 2PM — 5PM

The Emerging Talents program, presented by HAY, is a one-day performative presentation during the Salone del Mobile of emerging talents selected among recent graduates of the world’s top design schools. Eleven young designers, chosen by a group of international advisors, have been awarded a bursary to attend the world’s most important design summit in Milan, and given a platform to present their work to some of the leading voices in the industry. The Emerging Talents program continues Atelier Clerici’s tradition of providing a platform for independent designers and companies in the heart of Milan's Fuorisalone.

The portfolio review takes the format of a fifteen-minute presentation and a twenty-minute conversation around each student's work, with a jury of experts and influential figures from the design world. These reviews will be open to the public, and coffee will be served. Hosted in the courtyard of Palazzo Clerici, the open structure of Atelier LUMA will propose a different layout according to the nature of each student's presentation: some projects use staged objects, whilst others communicate through a roundtable discussion or screenings.
